Hoshiarpur: A case of 3 people dying due to a canter overturning in Torowal village adjoining Garhshankar in Hoshiarpur has come to light last night.
According to the information received, the congregation of village Udan Tehsil Rajpura District Patiala was returning after paying obeisance at Shri Khuralgarh Sahib when 3 people died and many were injured due to the failure of the brake of the canter near village Torowal.
The injured have been sent to other places besides Civil Hospital Garhshankar. 2 of the deceased have been identified as Gurmukh Singh son of Naja Ram age 55 years and Navjot Kaur Lado daughter of Jagar Singh village Udan Tehsil Rajpura District Patiala. The third deceased could not be identified. The injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
