Fazilka: Andaman Nicobar is miles away from Fazilka located on the Indo-Pak border of Punjab and Najma and Veeran, residents of Andaman Nicobar, have come from Fazilka to buy a Punjab State Lottery ticket after traveling for four days and spending lakhs of rupees. The main reason for this is that in the last one year, big prizes worth crores have been won in Fazilka. Which has been a topic of discussion not only in Punjab but also in the country and abroad.
Najma, who works as a teacher in Andaman Nicobar, told that she saw on YouTube that prizes worth crores are being won in Fazilka. So she first bought a lottery ticket from Fazilka through phone.
Najma, who works as a teacher, told that in the first time itself she won a lottery of 2500. After which she bought many lottery tickets in which she got small prizes. But now she decided to come to Fazilka and buy a lottery ticket and after traveling for four days, she reached here to buy a lottery ticket and bought lottery tickets worth 2.5 crores as well as 1.5 crores.
He said that if she wins the lottery, he will be very happy. After coming to Fazilka, he will donate one lakh rupees for langar in the nearby Gurudwara Sahib. Najma’s husband is retired Veeran who is employed in the defense.
He said that even though coming to Fazilka and spending one lakh rupees to buy a lottery ticket proved to be expensive for him. But if he wins the lottery, he will become the owner of 2.5 crores.
On the other hand, Roopchand lottery operator Babi said that he has won one and a half, then two and a half and then the biggest prize of Punjab state of five crore rupees. He sent many tickets to the couple through speed post and also transferred the prize online. But it is a matter of good fortune for him that they have come from an island so far away to buy tickets at his shop in Fazilka located on the border. He wishes that God makes him the owner of the lottery tickets bought by the couple.
