BSF recovers heroin dropped by Pakistani drone in Fazilka

The narcotics were wrapped with yellow coloured adhesive tape along with 01 small torch.

Fazilka: On 12th June 2024, in the morning hours, a joint search operation by BSF and Punjab Police was conducted in the border area of district Fazilka in anticipation of presence of narcotics consignment.

During search operation, at about 07:45 am, the vigilant troops successfully recovered 01 packet of suspected narcotics (Gross weight- 580 grams) from an area adjacent to village- S S Wala of Fazilka district.

01 metal ring was also found attached with the packet.

Coordinated efforts of BSF troops and Punjab Police successfully foiled yet another attempt of narco-syndicate to smuggle the narcotics in Punjab from across the border.
