Masked miscreants opened fire at Jewelry shop in Khanna, owner narrowly escaped

A CCTV video of the incident has also surfaced, in which the miscreant is seen firing.

Khanna: On Wednesday night, miscreants on a bike opened fire at a jewelry showroom in Khanna, Ludhiana. Within 5 seconds, the youth fired several rounds of bullets. After which they fled away from the spot. The jeweler narrowly escaped in the incident which could have been fatal for him. A CCTV video of the incident has also surfaced, in which the miscreant is seen firing.

The incident raises serious questions as the police post from the firing spot is just 400 meters away while the high-security residential area of Judges in just 50 meters away.

According to the initial investigation of the police, Paramjeet Jewelers is on the railway road of Doraha. On Wednesday night at around 8:09 pm, two youths came on a bike with their face covered. One youth remained sitting on the bike, while the other youth got down and came in front of the showroom. He took out pistols in his hand and started firing towards the showroom. Both of them fled away from the spot.

Everyone in the market was terrified on hearing the sound of firing. People sitting inside the showroom started saving their lives by getting down. The glass of the showroom broke due to the bullets. Out of many bullets fired, only 2 bullets went inside the shop. Jeweler Manpreet Singh Mani sitting inside survived narrowly in this incident.

After this the people from nearby areas reached the spot. Also the police was informed about the incident. Police have collected necessary evidence from the spot.
