Ludhiana: Massive fire breaks out in warehouse of Tehbazari; kiosks, flex boards gutted

Jalandhar: A massive fire suddenly broke out in a warehouse of Tehbazari near Cheema Chowk in Ludhiana today. The fire was so terrible that smoke was visible to people from several kilometers away. Immediately after the fire broke out, people in the vicinity informed the municipal corporation officials.

Tehbazari Inspector Sunil Kumar reached the spot after information was received about fire.

People also tried to extinguish the fire themselves, but seeing the fire increasing, they immediately informed the fire department. It is said that the fire broke out due to a short circuit. The goods kept in the warehouse turned to ashes.

More than 5 vehicles extinguished the fire

Currently, more than 5 vehicles of the fire department are engaged in extinguishing the fire. Giving information, Tehbazari Inspector Sunil said that the fire suddenly increased.

So far, the cause of the fire seems to be a short circuit. Kiosks and flex boards which were kept in the warehouse gutted due to the fire. The boards that were removed from the roads during the Lok Sabha elections were dumped here. The fire brigade officials are continuously trying to control the fire.
