Khanna Bank Robbery Solved; 3 accused arreted

All the three accused are residents of Ajnala in Amritsar.

Khanna: In a major breakthrough, Local Police has arrested three accused who robbed Rs 15.92 lakh from Punjab & Sindh Bank located in village Bagli Kalan of Khanna three days ago. All the three accused are residents of Ajnala in Amritsar.

Police has arrested 3 accused namely, Amritpal Singh, Jagdish Singh Gulaaba and Gurmeen Singh Nona in the bank robbery case. Weapons used in the crime including, bike and robbery money were recovered from them. Further investigation will be done by taking the remand of all three.

Three miscreants had carried out the incident

Three masked miscreants robbed Rs 15.92 lakh from Punjab & Sindh Bank located in village Bagli Bagli Kalan near Khanna in broad daylight on Tuesday afternoon at around 2:30 pm. The accused fled after the robbery.

Three masked youths came on a motorcycle and stormed inside when it was lunch break in the bank.Around 2:30 PM all three went into the bank and held the bank staff hostage at gunpoint. They looted about 15 lakh rupees from the bank and fled. While leaving, they robbers even attacked the bank’s gunman.

The robbers ran away with the gunman’s gun and opened fire. Police after getting the information reached the spot and initiated the investigation and now within 3 days, Police have solved the case .
