Congress starts preparation for assembly elections in Haryana

Party organize worker conferences in every district from 16 June to 14 July.

Chandigarh: After the Lok Sabha polls, parties are now preparing for the Legislative Assembly polls. Congress is now going to organize worker conferences in every district as the party is encouraged by the results of the Lok Sabha elections in Haryana.There are 4 months left for the assembly elections in Haryana. In such a situation, Congress wants to register its presence by organizing as many programs as possible in the assemblies. For this, worker conferences are being organized. These conferences will run from 16 June to 13 July. Haryana Congress Committee State President Udaybhan and former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda will participate in this conference.

In this Lok Sabha election, the Congress has won 5 out of 10 seats in Haryana. Congress’s vote bank has increased. Congress was ahead in about 42 assembly seats in Haryana. At the same time, the alliance won four assembly seats in Kurukshetra. Apart from this, the BJP is leading in 44 assembly seats. Congress won all the assembly seats in Rohtak and Sirsa. Congress is considering this an achievement. Orders have been issued to all the officials of Congress to participate in these conferences in their respective districts.

This time, the vote percentage of Congress has increased by 15.62 percent in Haryana as compared to the last Lok Sabha. While Congress got 28.5 percent of the votes in 2019, this time it got 43.67 percent. Congress had won 30 seats in the 2019 assembly. This time, five Congress MPs were elected from Haryana. Assembly-wise, Congress has a lead of 46 seats this time as compared to last time. The Congress believes that in the upcoming assembly, the BJP’s graph will go down even further.

In this meeting, Congress decided that it should organize the maximum number of programs in every assembly. Maximum communication should be established with the workers. Regarding this, the Congress has now invited all the MLAs, MPs, former MLAs, former MPs, office bearers and members of the Haryana Congress, the former president of the Congress Committee, candidates of the last assembly elections, candidates of the corporation elections, the district in-charge, spokesperson, district and block coordinators of Hath Se Hath Joddo Abhiyaan, state-level heads and office bearers of leading organizations and departments, cells and mayors, councillors, chairmen, former chairmen of Zila Parishad, and other members of the party.
