“Leopard Sighted in Haryana, Area Evacuated”

Panipat: A leopard was seen again on the third day on Sunday afternoon near Bhainswal village adjacent to Yamuna in Panipat, Haryana. The forest department and police teams have been searching for this leopard for three days. Efforts are being made to find it continuously with the help of drones in the forests, but it was not captured by the drone cameras.

Meanwhile, this man-eating leopard, which ate the 4-year-old girl, was captured by the cameras of the local villagers. People captured it on their mobile cameras from a distance of about 20 meters. After this, the forest department was informed about it. The villagers told them that the leopard had entered the drain and sewerage.

On receiving the information, the forest department team, which was searching on the other side, reached the spot. After which, the search has started. As a precaution, the area was evacuated. Police teams have also reached the spot. The crowd of villagers has been sent to the other side.

Eyewitness villagers told the wildlife department that the leopard had entered the sewerage of Drain No. 2. Due to this, the team closed the drain from both sides. The team has closed it by placing another plastic drum. Pressure is being applied from this side with the help of several devices so that the leopard somehow reaches the net side and gets caught in it.
