Insects in Packed Fruit Drink in Karnal

When insects came out of the packet, the child made a video.

Karnal: A case of insects found in packed fruit drinks has come to light in Gharaunda, Karnal district, Haryana. It is being told that the shopkeeper’s son had taken out packets from the fridge, but two of the packets were slightly torn from the top. The child put both of these packets in the glass to drink.

He was also shocked to see the scene in the glass; insects came out of it. The child told his father about the whole matter, and there was an uproar. The victim sent the video to the supplier, but he did not give a satisfactory answer. The matter has reached the Food Safety Officer, who has said to investigate.

Shri Shyam Kirana Store is in Ward No. 5 of Gharaunda. Naresh Gupta runs the shop, and his son Chirag also lives at the shop. Naresh Gupta alleges that his son took out a slice worth Rs 10 from the fridge on June 19. Two packets started leaking a little. He opened them in a glass to drink.

When insects came out of the packet, the child made a video. Naresh said that he also saw the video. He sent it to his supplier, KP Traders, but they did not respond. After this, Naresh called the media to his shop and also shared the video.

Shopkeeper Naresh, Pramod Gupta, local shopkeeper Krishna, and others allege that even small children drink the fruit drinks of this famous company. In such a situation, if insects go into the stomach of the child, how dangerous they can be can be imagined. In such a situation, who will take responsibility? Companies are playing with the health of people.

When KP Traders owners Sunil and Krishna were talked to, instead of giving a satisfactory answer, they started misbehaving with the media.

Naresh alleges that there should be an impartial investigation of this entire matter so that this kind of mischief does not happen to anyone.

When asked about this, Food Safety Officer Amit Chauhan said that this matter had just come to his attention. On June 21, he will go to the spot and investigate the matter and also check wherever the material has been supplied from. Strict action will be taken in this matter.
