Congress workers lock BJP office in Ambala over NEET exam rigging protest

The investigation into the NEET paper leak was still going on, but now the government has pushed the future of lakhs of students into darkness by cancelling the UGC NET June 2024 exam due to the paper leak.

Ambala: In Ambala, Haryana, Congressmen locked the BJP office in Ambala city over the rigging in the NEET, UGC NEET, and ITEP exams.

Congress workers reached the BJP office under the leadership of AICC Secretary Chetan Singh Chauhan, where Congress protested.

Congressmen vehemently protested against the rigging and paper leaks in the NEET, UGC NEET, and ITEP exams.

Chetan said that at present, there is a government of democracy and not democracy in the country. The investigation into the NEET paper leak was still going on, but now the government has pushed the future of lakhs of students into darkness by cancelling the UGC NET June 2024 exam due to the paper leak. He said that along with all this, irregularities have also come to light in the Integrated Teacher Education Program exam.

He said that irregularities in one exam after another and paper leaks have proved the failure of this government. Today, there are only tears in the eyes of hardworking candidates. Who will give an account of their months of hard work? Jain said that this type of negligence and irregularities in the field of education are not acceptable under any circumstances.

Earlier on Friday evening, Congressmen had also demonstrated on Jagadhari Road under the leadership of Congress leader and advocate Rohit Jain. Jain said that the leaking of the UGC NET paper a day before the exam and selling it to students through coaching institutes for five thousand rupees on Telegram is very condemnable and shameful.

He said that the examination mafia not only leaked the UGC NET paper a day before the exam but also distributed it across the country through the internet networking site Telegram. Jain said that the Home Ministry and the Education Ministry were informed about this by the investigating officers on June 17 itself, but this matter was not taken seriously.

Jain said that similar irregularities were not only found in NEET and UGC NET but also in ITEP. Similarly, NTA cancelled the ITEP exam on June 12 due to irregularities. Jain said that such papers are kept sealed in the strong rooms of different centers before the exam, and it is very shameful that the paper got leaked despite such tight security.
