Faridabad: Daughter’s body buried in house, police recovers skeleton

Her father sent a letter from Saudi Arabia; she had absconded 10 months ago.

Faridabad: After receiving a letter from Saudi Arabia in Faridabad, Haryana, the Faridabad Police were in a state of panic. This letter was addressed to the Faridabad Police Commissioner. In the letter, Tahir (father of died girl), a resident of Kaler Mohalla of Dhauj village in Faridabad district, suspected his wife, brother-in-law, and his wife of murdering his daughter and demanded proper investigation and justice.

Tahir has worked as a truck driver in Saudi Arabia for the last 13 years. He wrote in the letter sent to the Police Commissioner that when he asks his wife to talk to his daughter, she does not let him talk to her. Due to this, he fears something untoward. Please do a proper investigation of this matter.

After receiving the letter from Saudi Arabia, the police came into action and sent this letter to the Dhauj police station and instructed them to investigate the matter thoroughly. After receiving this letter from the Police Commissioner, the police of the Dhauj police station also came into action, and in village Dhauj, Tahir’s wife Hanifa Begum, her son Nijja, Hanifa’s brother Jafar, and his wife Rukhsana were called by the police to the Dhauj police station for interrogation and were thoroughly questioned.

During the interrogation, they told me that the deceased Farveena had run away with Nasir, a resident of the same village, 10 months ago. When she came to the village after a few days, a decision was taken between the two parties in a meeting at the Dhauj police station. After this decision, Farveena started living with them. But one day, Farveena committed suicide by hanging herself. Fearing the shame of society, they together dug a pit in the house and buried Farveena’s body.

The police have recovered the skeleton of the deceased by digging at the place mentioned. At present, the police have sent the skeleton of the body buried at home to the hospital for a postmortem. The police say that only after the report and investigation will it be known how the girl died.
