Gurugram: A woman married another woman in Gurugram, Haryana. This marriage took place on April 23, 2024, at Chhoti Panchayat Dharamshala in Madanpuri. However, after its photos and videos surfaced, this marriage has come into the limelight.
Anju Sharma, a resident of Gurugram, works in TV serials by profession. She married makeup artist Kavita Tappu, a resident of Fatehabad. In this relationship, Anju Sharma is playing the role of husband, and Kavita is playing the role of wife.
Anju says that her name is Anju, but her wife lovingly calls her Ajju and Shona. They have been with each other for four years. They got married with Hindu customs. Both the families have accepted them. 80 people came to their wedding.
Anju said that every girl and boy dreams of increasing their lineage, but many times such problems arise that they are unable to have children.
Anju said that they had already told the hall owner and the DJ that it was the wedding of two girls so that there would be no problem at the last moment. Despite this, the pandit called in the morning and said that I would not be able to come because a big accident had happened to me. Everyone got upset after hearing this. She has a YouTube channel. Kavita was called a makeup artist for the YouTube shoot. During the shoot, both of them got attached. When she went to drop Kavita off at home after the shoot, Kavita said that she would come with her. After this, they started visiting each other’s houses.
Anju said that we do not know whether we love each other or not, but we cannot live without each other. Her mother passed away in the year 2022. Before that, her 22-year-old nephew died in an accident. That period was very difficult. Everyone had left her; it was only Tappu (Kavita) who stood with me in that sad period. After that, gradually, they did not know when they became so attached.
Anju said that she does not worry about society because it is not giving them food. She is trolled so much on social media, and people use abusive words that cannot even be described. When Kavita’s father and brother came to the wedding, people abused them too. She wants to ask people what crime they have committed; they have just fallen in love. Most women abuse her.
Kavita says that she has grown up so much that she didn’t even know that two girls could have such a relationship. But she came to know all this after meeting Anju four years ago. She is very happy with this relationship, and they can’t live without each other.
