The family members said that someone called, after which their son left the house. After this, his body was found in the bushes. According to the information, Rakesh, a cardboard trader resident of Gyan Nagar in the city, was murdered by slitting his throat with knives.

The miscreants stabbed the cardboard trader 10 times with knives. After the murder, the accused fled by throwing his body in the bushes on Sector 14-15 Outer Road. On Tuesday morning, when passers by saw the bike lying there, they informed the police.

On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it for post-mortem. Police officials said that after killing the young businessman, the accused left the knife at the scene itself. The knife has been recovered.

The family members of the deceased trader said that Rakesh used to buy and sell cardboard and he had no enmity with anyone. He was talking to someone on the phone at night. When everyone in the house slept, he left with his bike. After this, the news of his murder was received on Tuesday morning.
