Gurugram: The atmosphere has heated up amid the discussions about taking out the Braj Mandal Yatra in Nuh, Haryana. Hindu organizations have talked about taking out the Braj Mandal Shobha Yatra in Nuh (Mewat) district. The administration has become alert about this yatra from now on. Violence took place during this yatra on July 31, 2023. In which six people died. Many violent offenders are in jail.
No permission has been sought from the administration regarding the Braj Mandal Yatra yet, but the officials of Vishwa Hindu Sangathan, Bajrang Dal, have talked about taking out the Shobha Yatra.
Agarwal Mahasabha Nuh District President Rajkumar Garg said that this year also a huge Jalabhishek Yatra will be taken out in Mewat on Monday, July 22, under the aegis of saints and Hindu organizations. Preparations for the program have been started.
The Braj Mandal Shobha Yatra has been taking place in Mewat for the last several years. The yatra starts at the ancient Shiva temple in Nuh and ends at the temple in Singar village in Punhana subdivision via the Shiva temple built in the Aravalli of Ferozepur Jhirka.
DC Dhirendra Khadagta of Nuh says that he does not have any written information about the Braj Mandal Shobha Yatra. No one has informed the administration about this yet. As soon as the information or permission is obtained, further work will be done on it.
SP Vijay Pratap has said that he has not received any information for permission yet. If information comes and the yatra is taken out, it will be taken out peacefully and with full alertness. The administration will not allow any kind of mistake. What happened in the past was unfortunate. There has been brotherhood in Mewat, and it will remain in the future too. The administration will sit down, discuss, and take a decision on this in detail.
Six people were killed during the Nuh violence last year. Of these, 4 were from Nuh and 2 from Gurugram district. A large number of people were also injured. Hundreds of vehicles were burned. In this violent case, the police had registered about 61 cases in different police stations. The cases in which UAPA has been imposed are related to the murder of two home guards and a Bajrang Dal worker.
The Pakistani connection was also revealed in this violence. After identifying more than 12 social media accounts linked to Pakistan, the police teams caught the followers associated with the violence and the account, and it was found that it has a large number of followers not only from Mewat, Haryana, but also from Rajasthan. Along with inciting violence, posts were uploaded to celebrate after the violence.
