Mohali: Today some people attacked two youths in Nayagaon town, Mohali.
Both the youths were badly injured in this attack. A complaint has been lodged with the police. The police are currently investigating the matter.
Both the youths were taken to Sector 16 Hospital in critical condition.
However, due to it being a medical-legal case (MLC), they were sent to Kharar Hospital. During treatment, Gurpreet Singh got 14 stitches on his head, and Gurjeet Singh got seven stitches on his head. The police have not yet arrested anyone in the case.
The victims said that during treatment at Kharar Hospital, the hospital informed the Nayagaon police about this. But no action has been taken by the police yet. They were standing in the market when some youths came and attacked them. They recognize those youths. But the police are busy saving them.
A similar incident was reported in the Nayagaon town of Mohali on July 2. In this case, a young man named Rajveer had come to the market to buy vegetables. When two hawkers started fighting, he tried to save them. But later, these hawkers attacked him. He had 26 stitches on his head. He also complained about this to the police. But the police have not taken any action in this case yet.
