The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of moderate rain in Budhlada, Sardulgarh, Lehra, Mansa, Sunam, Moonak, Patara, Talwandi Sabo till 9 am today. During this time, strong winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers and lightning will also flash. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light rain in Sangrur Barnala, Tapa, Dhuri, Moonak, Samana, Patiala, Nabha, Malout, Bathinda and Rampura Phul.
Yellow alert for 4 districts
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow weather alert for four districts include Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr and Rupnagar. Heavy rain is expected here.
The highest rainfall in the state was recorded in Patiala at 48.0 mm, Ferozepur at 6.5 mm, Moga at 0.5 mm, Mohali at 8.0 mm and Patiala at 12.5 mm.
