Tarn Taran: SSP of District Sri Muktsar Sahib (SSP of District Sri Muktsar Sahib) Bhagirth Singh Meena IPS CIA during the operation being conducted against drug traffickers and mischievous elements.
The police team of Staff Malot busted arrested 3 thieves and recovered 8 stolen motorcycles and 3 mobile phones from them.
In this regard SP (D) Manmeet Singh Dhillon told that CIA, a police team led by Kulbir Chand Sharma, in-charge of Malot 2, searched for the suspects at nearby Danewala Chowk, Malot. Therefore, the informant informed the police that Gurdas Singh son of Mangal Singh, Goshvir Singh son of Jaspal Singh resident of village Himmatpura Basti Malot and Jaspreet Singh son of Gora Singh resident of village Malot who are used to stealing vehicles.
During the blockade by the police team, the said persons were arrested along with the stolen Pulsar motorcycle. The city police registered an FIR against these three accused in the police station. A case has been registered and investigation has been started.
During the preliminary interrogation, the accused said that they had hidden 7 more stolen motorcycles in a deserted room and bushes near the sugar mill of Malot village. On which the police have recovered a total of 8 motorcycles and 3 mobile phones from the members of these gangs. These accused will be presented in the honorable court and remand will be obtained, on which more revelations are likely.
