Three bike ridden youth open fire on farmer in Noormahal town of Jalandhar, Punjab. Bullet hit on farmers foot. He has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment. The Noormahal police station staff has started investigation of firing incident. SHO Noormahal police station Varinder Pal Singh said that this incident took place in village.

SHO Noormahal police station Varinder Pal Singh said that this incident took place in village Sunnad Kalan in morning time at around 7am. Farmer Resham Singh (55) was going to plow the contract land on his tractor.

When he reached near his fields, three bike riders came near to him and open fire. One bullet hit the farmer’s foot. After the incident, the accused fled from spot to towards village Bandala.

Family members said thet thy have no enmity with anyone. In such a situation, the police is currently investigating the matter. At the same time, ransom or any other matter has not come to light in the case. Because the farmer who has been shot, does farming by taking land on contract.
