Gurugram: In Gurugram, Haryana, the live-in partner attacked the woman’s two children under the influence of alcohol. He threw the 7-year-old child against the wall. Due to this, he died. He picked up the other child and threw him on the floor. He is seriously injured. He has been admitted to the hospital.
In the initial investigation, the police came to know that the accused, Vineet Chaudhary, came to the children in an intoxicated state. After this, he had a dispute with the children and started beating them.
The woman’s husband has died. After which, she was living in a live-in with this young man. He often used to beat both children after drinking alcohol. The police have arrested the accused youth.
According to Gurugram Police, Rajendra Park police station received information about this case late on Sunday night. In which it was told that 7-year-old Preet and 9-year-old Manu were admitted to a private hospital. Of these, Preet has died. After which, the police reached there.
In the statement given to the police, the injured child and his grandfather said that he lives with his family in Tekchand Nagar, Gurugram. The grandfather said that his elder son, Vijay Kumar, died in 2023. After this, his daughter-in-law came to Rajendra Park. A week ago, she rented a room here. She started living with a man along with her two children.
According to the police, the woman, Manju, told them that as soon as she got information about the children being beaten up, she immediately reach home, Manju saw the children lying in critical condition. She made noise and called the people around. After which, with the help of local people, Manu and Preet were taken to the hospital.
She said that Preet and Manu were injured. She has brought them to the hospital. When he reached the hospital, the daughter-in-law told her that the person with whom she lived had beaten up the children. Preet died due to severe injuries sustained in the assault. Rajendra Park police registered a murder case and arrested the accused, Vineet Chaudhary (28).
According to Gurugram police spokesperson Sandeep, during interrogation, the accused said that he often used to beat the children in the absence of their mother. Yesterday evening, when he came home, the children’s mother was not at home. He beat the children, due to which Preet died and Manu got injured.
During police interrogation, the accused told me that he works for a private company. The mother of the deceased child and the accused, Vineet, were living together for several months. The accused had gone to his village, Bijnor, about a month ago. He returned about a week ago and then started living in a live-in relationship with the woman.
