Woman’s cash worth Rs 16,000 stolen in Barwala

The accused came on the pretext of begging; his mobile dropped while running away. 

Hisar: In Barwala, Hisar district, an unknown person entered a house on the pretext of begging, took out cash worth Rs 16,000 from clothes, and escaped. While leaving, the accused’s mobile phone fell. The family members handed it over to the police. The police have registered a case against the unknown person and started an investigation.

A case was registered against the accused. 

Seema, a resident of Ward No. 1 of Barwala, told the police in her complaint that an unknown person came to my house on July 12. He entered my house on the pretext of begging. When she asked him to take a bath, she went to the bathroom. When she came out after taking a bath, the unknown person took out about Rs 16,000 from my clothes and started running away.

My husband tried to chase and catch him, but the person dodged him and escaped. According to the woman, when she shouted, my husband Kulwant and she ran after him, and his mobile fell there. Now she have deposited the said mobile in the police station, complained to him, and requested action.
