After two days of active monsoon in Punjab, the temperature is increasing again. As Compared to Friday, the maximum temperature recorded on Saturday evening has increased by an average of 4 degrees Celsius.
The highest maximum temperature in the state has been recorded in Pathankot at 38.1 degrees Celsius. At the same time, there is a possibility of pocket rain in some areas of Punjab today.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain in Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Faridkot and Moga today. According to the Meteorological Department, from 1 to 13 July, Punjab has received 13 percent less rainfall than normal.
The reason behind this is the winds are not able to create proper pressure between Himachal and Rajasthan. Coz of this Punjab and Haryana are receiving less rainfall than normal, but Rajasthan has recorded 35 percent more rainfall than normal. Punjab, normally receives 56.5 mm of rainfall, but till now only 49.2 mm of rain has occurred.
