Fazilka: People who came to eat at Shagun Restaurant on DAV College Road in Jalalabad, Fazilka district, fled without paying the bill. Their pictures have been captured by a CCTV camera. According to the operator, when he chased the car and stopped the people, they showed him a pistol, pushed him, and fled. In this case, he is demanding police action.
Sanjeev Chugh, the owner of Shagun Restaurant on DAV College Road, said while giving information that some people came to his restaurant in a Swift car with a temporary number. They sat at the table in his restaurant for some time and kept eating after ordering food. He said that when he was asked for the bill of Rs 1050/-, about six people ran away from the restaurant one after the other without paying the bill.
When he came to know about this, he followed his car on a bike, stopped his car near Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk, and asked him why he did not pay the bill for the food. First, he was abused, and then the said people took out a revolver. During this, his companion ran away and hid in the traffic booth, then those people pushed him and fled. At present, police action is being demanded in this case.
Regarding this matter, SHO Angrez of Jalalabad City Police Station says that no written complaint has been received by him yet. After receiving the complaint, the necessary action will be implemented only after investigating the matter.
