Mohali Police arrests 2 miscreants fleeing on stolen motorcycle

Both of them currently live in the Khushal Enclave of Zirakpur.

Chandigarh: Mohali police have caught two miscreants running on stolen bullet motorcycles. While running away, the bike of the accused hit a stone and slipped. The police came from behind and caught the accused.

The miscreants had taken a taxi from Zirakpur on July 12. Later, they tried to rob the taxi driver at gunpoint, and after stabbing him, he fled with his taxi.

They were trying to escape from Mohali on Tuesday. But their motorcycle slipped and fell here, and police arrested them on the spot. Police have recovered two illegal weapons and some live rounds from their possession.

The accused arrested by the police have been identified as Lucky alias Kala, a resident of Ferozepur, and Dharmendra, a resident of Fauji Colony Kapurthala. Both of them currently live in the Khushal Enclave of Zirakpur.

Both of them used to commit car-snatching incidents here. When he tried to run away on a stolen motorcycle today, the police surrounded him from both sides. After this, his motorcycle slipped.
