Amritsar: Senior Akali Dal leader and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia appeared before the court on Thursday. Accusing Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann that, the SIT has deliberately sent the summons of July 18 at the behest of the CM, while Sanjay Singh was told today’s date during the last appearance.
At the same time, today Bikram Singh Majithia has been summoned again by the SIT on July 20 in the drugs case. Bikram Majithia said that after talking to lawyers and experts, he found it more important to appear in Amritsar court. The court has now fixed the next date as August 17.
He said that the SIT has become a puppet in the hands of CM Bhagwant Mann. The Home Ministry is with Bhagwant Mann and the responsibility of transferring police officers is also with in the hand of CM Bhagwant Mann. His investigation started from the DGP level and now the investigation has fell down to the DSP-Inspector level.
Majithia alleged that the SIT tried to harass him. If the court verdict in favour of AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, then AAP calls it a big victory. If the court gives a decision in favour of Majithia, then they adopt illegal methods to suppress Majithia.
Refused to comment on Akali Dal conflict
Bikram Majithia refused to comment on the internal conflict going on in the Akali Dal. He said that everyone is dedicated to Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Like Nimane Sikh, everyone should take refuge in the feet of the Guru.
I would advise the opponents to come along, because they also had ministries in the government. Those who are advising that the decision should be this way or that way, they know about them. How much faith they have in Sri Akal Takht Sahib can be known from their words. Therefore, they do not want to talk about Sri Akal Takht Sahib in any political or other way, as the opponents are doing.
