Tragic incident in Haryana: 12th grade student jumps from 14th floor, dies

He had a commerce test; perhaps he had not prepared for it properly.

Faridabad: Last night in Faridabad, Haryana, a 12th-grade student committed suicide by jumping from the 14th floor. After a postmortem at Badshah Khan Civil Hospital, his body was handed over to the family.

The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Divyanshu Ojha. The deceased’s family is originally from Patna, Bihar. The deceased’s father, Ravi Shekhar, works at Hemla Company, located on Mathura Road.

Investigating officer Anil Kumar said that the father said in his written statement that he has two sons. The younger son, Divyanshu, was studying in class 12 this year. He had a commerce test today; perhaps he had not prepared for it properly, and due to fear of getting low marks, he committed suicide attempt by jumping from the 14th floor of society.

The deceased’s father, Ravi Shekhar, said that his 17-year-old son, Divyanshu Ojha, was currently studying in the 12th grade at Rawal School in Ballabhgarh.

His son was very good at studying. He had scored 85% in 10th grade. His photo was also printed on the board outside the school, and the news was published in the newspapers. Because he was the youngest in the family, he was very naughty and loved by everyone.

Investigating officer ASI Anil Kumar said that he was informed about this incident at around 2:45 last night. When he arrived at the scene, Divyanshu was lying face down on the road below. There was a lot of blood flowing from his head, and he had died on the spot.

The investigating officer said that the deceased Divyanshu’s elder brother, Priyanshu, was awake until about 2 o’clock in the night. At that time, his brother was sleeping near him. About 45 minutes later, when he fell, there was a loud bang.

After this, the security guard went to the spot and informed the people of the society about it. After this, it was found out that the deceased lived on the 11th floor. After this, they came to know about this incident. At present, the body of the deceased has been handed over to his family after a postmortem at Badshah Khan Civil Hospital today.
