Fazilka police arrest 13 drug smuggler, seize drugs worth crores

In 7 days, heroin, opium, and drug money worth 8 lakhs were recovered.

Fazilka: Fazilka police, while taking action against drugs, have made a big recovery in the last 7 days and have also succeeded in arresting 13 drug smugglers in this case. The police say that no drug smuggler will be spared. Meetings have also been held with the committees of 376 villages in collaboration with the BSF.

Giving information, the SSP of Fazilka, Dr. Pragya Jain, said that the Fazilka police have taken such strict action in the last 7 days. Within 7 days, the police have arrested 13 drug smugglers. A huge amount of drugs worth crores of rupees has been recovered from them. He said that 1 kg (560 grams) of heroin had been recovered from four youths travelling in a car in Abohar. Jaswinder Singh, Amanpreet Singh, Gurwinder Singh, and Gurjeet Singh were arrested. After interrogation, drug money worth about 8 lakh rupees was recovered from them.

Jalalabad police caught drug smugglers.

Apart from this, in Jalalabad, the police recovered 1 kg of heroin from three people: Balwinder Singh, Baljeet Singh, and Ashok Singh. In Abohar, the police recovered 2 kg and 40 grams of opium from two people, Vijaypal and Dalip Kumar, travelling in a car. Bahawalwala police station recovered 50 kg of poppy husk from a person named Vinod Kumar.

At the same time, Khuiya Sarwar police station seized 9,500 intoxicant pills from a person named Charanjit Singh at the Gumjal check post. The SSP says that in the last seven days, 9500 intoxicant pills have been recovered from a person named Charanjit Singh. In the last few days, Fazilka police have arrested 13 drug smugglers, including 4 kg of 160 grams of marijuana, 2 kg of 40 grams of opium, 50 kg of poppy husk, 9500 intoxicant pills, Rs 8 lakh in drug money, and a tractor trolley. And this operation is continuing further.
