Himachal DG Sanjay Singh gets additional charge of CID

Four IPS were promoted; Rakesh Agarwal was also promoted before joining the NIA. 

Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government has given the additional charge of Director General CID to DG Jail Sanjay Ratna Ojha. Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena has issued orders regarding this.

At the same time, the state government has promoted four IPS officers from the 1993 and 1994 batches to Director General. These include 1994 batch IPS Anurag Garg, Ashok Tiwari, and Ritwik Rudra, and 1994 batch IPS Rakesh Agarwal.

Anurag Garg, Ashok Tiwari, and Ritwik Rudra are all currently in the central delegation. Due to this, they have been given a performance promotion, while Rakesh Agarwal has been given a regular promotion. Rakesh Agarwal, who has been promoted to DG, is also going to go on central deputation soon. He is currently an ADG Home Guard in Himachal.

The Union Home Ministry has entrusted a big responsibility to Rakesh Agarwal. Rakesh Agarwal has been appointed Additional Director General of the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The Home Ministry has directed the Himachal government to release Rakesh Agarwal soon.

The state government has appointed State Administrative Service (HAS) officer and SDM (civil) Dr. Sanjay Kumar Dhiman as Senior Administrative Officer in PGI Chandigarh. Dr. Sanjay will serve in PGI on deputation for three years.
