Cabinet Minister Balkar Singh supports Kandala Guru residents against Bio CNG factory

Jalandhar: Punjab Local Bodies Minister Mr Balkar Singh today supports the protest of Kandhala guru residents against the proposed CNG factory at their village.

The minister assured the residents of Kandala Guru that “he will support efforts made by the people so that the proposed CNG factory in their village would not start functioning.

In a detailed interaction with the people of Kandala Guru and nearby villages, Minister Singh addressed their concerns about the factory’s potential health and environmental risks.

The residents informed the Minister that the bio CNG factory posed significant threats to their soil, water, and air quality. They urged immediate action to prevent the factory’s operation. After listening to the grievances, Minister Singh emphasized that in a democracy, the public’s voice is paramount.

He assured the villagers that he would support them and take necessary steps to stop the factory from commencing operations.
