3 newly elected MLA of Himachal Pradesh sworn In, pledge to hold state development

The speaker administered the oath. After four and a half months, the number of MLAs reached 68, and husband and wife will be seen together.

Shimla: Today, three newly elected MLAs were administered the oath of office and secrecy in the Himachal Assembly. Chief Minister Sukhu’s wife and newly elected MLAs from Dehra, Kamlesh Thakur, Baba Hardeep Singh from Nalagarh, and BJP MLA Ashish Sharma from Hamirpur, were administered the oath by Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania.

Kamlesh Thakur was the first to be administered the oath. After him, Ashish Sharma, who was elected MLA from Hamirpur for the second time, took the oath. Finally, Baba Hardeep Singh took the oath. With their oath, the number of MLAs in the Himachal Assembly has reached 68 after about four and a half months. Earlier, all three MLAs reached the Assembly with drums. Especially the supporters of Nalagarh MLA Baba Hardeep Singh have reached the Assembly in large numbers.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu and his wife, Kamlesh Thakur, will be seen together in the Assembly. This has never happened before in the Himachal Assembly. Although Virbhadra Singh and Vikramaditya Singh are sitting together in the Himachal Vidhan Sabha as father and son, husband and wife will be seen together in the Vidhan Sabha for the first time.

People have shown a mirror to the politics of horse-trading:

After the swearing-in of the MLAs, CM Sukhu said that due to the conspiracy of the BJP to topple the government, development work remained stalled for four months. He said that the number of Congress MLAs has again reached 40. The people of the state have shown a mirror to the politics of horse-trading. The BJP should now cooperate with the state government on development in the next three and a half years.
