Gurdaspur Tragedy: Student succumbs to fatal tree collision in Canada

A similar case has come to light in Brampton, where 21-year-old girl Lakhwinder Kaur, alias Komal, a resident of Sukhkha Chida village in Gurdaspur, died in a road accident. Her friends were also with her during the accident. Komal had gone abroad on a study visa. 10 months ago.

Giving information in this regard, the uncle of the deceased girl, Narinder Singh, said that his 21-year-old niece Lakhwinder Kaur, alias Komal, daughter of Balwinder Singh, had gone to Canada to study 10 months ago. He told her that she was going to work in a car with her four friends. During this, the car lost balance and collided with a tree. In this accident, three other girls, including Komal, died, while a boy was seriously injured.

This accident has been confirmed by the Canadian police. After this accident, the family members are crying a lot. A wave of mourning spread in the village. On this occasion, social worker Baldev Singh Balla Sukha Chhidda said that the father of the deceased girl, after working hard and taking some loans, had sent his daughter to study in Canada about 10 months ago to secure her future.

Komal had just passed two semesters, and she had 4 months of vacation from college, so she was working to meet her expenses, and she died in this accident. The family has requested that their daughter’s dead body be sent to India soon.
