CM Bhagwant Mann come to Jalandhar: On 2-day visit from tomorrow

CM Mann will hold meetings with leaders regarding the upcoming elections. 

Jalandhar: As per the promise made by the state CM, Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann, during the assembly by-elections in Jalandhar West constituency, he will be in Jalandhar tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. On Wednesday and Thursday, he will hold meetings with leaders from various areas, including Jalandhar, and decide the strategy for the upcoming elections.

This information has been shared by CM Mann’s team. During the Jalandhar West by-election, CM Mann had promised the people that he would sit in Jalandhar for two days every week. In such a situation, he will be able to hold meetings with the leaders of Majha and Doaba. For this, CM Mann has also taken a house for rent in Jalandhar.

By-elections were held in the Jalandhar West Assembly constituency. In which the Aam Aadmi Party made Mohinder Bhagat, the son of a former minister who left the BJP, its candidate. In which Aam Aadmi Party candidate Mohinder Bhagat won by a huge margin.

Mohinder Bhagat defeated Sheetal Angural, who left the Aam Aadmi Party and joined the BJP, by about 37,500 votes. This is the biggest victory for the West Assembly constituency so far.

Sheetal Angural was earlier in the Aam Aadmi Party, and he was an AAP MLA in the West constituency. But he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party during the Lok Sabha elections. Sheetal Angural had resigned. Although later Angural offered to take back his resignation, by then the resignation had been accepted. After this, the Election Commission announced a by-election in the said constituency.
