Hisar: The third wife of a government teacher in Haryana committed suicide by consuming poison. The case is of the village Madanpura in the Uklana area of Hisar. Where 35-year-old married woman Darshana committed suicide by swallowing poisonous substances. The deceased’s husband, 40-year-old Vinod Kumar, was teaching in a government school in village Nagla for 2 years. Before this, Vinod Kumar has been married twice.
Vinod’s first marriage took place in 2014, and after 2 years, his wife left him. After this, Vinod married for the second time in 2017, and after one and a half years, his second wife also left him. After this, Vinod married for the third time in April 2023.
Vinod’s third wife already has a son who is 14 years old. The police have started action based on the statement of the family members of the third wife, Darshana. The police is also interrogating the deceased’s husband.
According to Darshana’s family, Vinod, a resident of Madanpura, about 40 years old, has been working as a government teacher in village Nagla for 2 years. Vinod has had a total of 3 marriages so far, and this was his third marriage with the deceased.
This was the second marriage of the deceased, and she had a son from her first marriage who lives with her here. He told me that 3 days ago Vinod had a phone conversation with the deceased, and there was some altercation between the two.
In which the deceased’s husband was threatening to kill her. After which the deceased swallowed some poisonous substance at home. After which her condition deteriorated. She was taken to a private hospital in Uklana for treatment. But the doctors declared her dead.
After the suicide of the married woman, a post-mortem is being conducted in the hospital located in Uklana tehsil. Apart from the family members of the deceased, relatives have reached the hospital with the entire panchayat.
Inspector Gurminder Singh at the Uklana police station said that a case of death of a married woman due to swallowing poison has come. The report has just been received. We will talk to all the parties. The real cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem report comes.
