Punjab Education department starts online transfer applications with deadline of August 5

At the same time, incomplete forms will not be accepted.

Chandigarh: Teachers posted in the Primary Education Department of Punjab will now be transferred. The department has opened an online portal in this regard. Teachers will be able to apply on the portal till August 5, 2024. These transfers will be based on the policy issued in the year 2019 and the amendments made to it. However, the service record and results of the teacher will also be seen.

During this time, all the teachers and associate teachers of the primary wing, associate pre-primary teachers, IT assistant teachers, education providers, EGS, AIE, and STR volunteers can apply for transfer. The service and total service of these people in different zones will also be seen. At the same time, incomplete forms will not be accepted. In cases falling under the special category or in cases with exemption, the relevant documents will have to be attached.

Apart from this, for mutual transfer, one has to apply for the e-portal through an online medium. Offline applications will not be considered. During this time, only those whose applications are found correct. Their cases will be forwarded for station choice. ACR of the year 2022-23 should be considered for transfer. If for any reason the ACR for the year 2022-23 is not written, then the ACR of the previous year will be considered.
