According to the information, samples of DAP fertilizer were taken during the code of conduct of the Lok Sabha elections. It has been learned that 60 percent of these samples failed. This matter first came to light in Mohali. Apart from this, investigation was done in many districts. At the same time, zinc samples also failed in Ludhiana district. At the same time, now the government is in a mood of strictness against the failure of samples. .

Agriculture Minister strict on officials

It has been learned that a few days ago the Agriculture Minister had a meeting regarding this matter. In that, he had made it clear to all the officials that the company supplying substandard DAP should not be given any relief at any level. The Agriculture Minister also said that gypsum will be sold only as per the set standards. The work of selling gypsum is with Punjab Agro Industries Corporation. Today, he will visit the pink caterpillar affected area.

The committee summoned the report by July 31

It is learned that the Committee on Cooperation and Other Activities of the Punjab Assembly has taken cognizance of the DAP fertilizer case. This committee has sought the record of DAP fertilizer from Markfed. According to sources, the Director of Markfed has been asked to appear in person by July 30.
