Swiggy delivery boy robbed at gunpoint in Ludhiana

A young man was going to deliver an order, cash, and a mobile snatched by introducing himself as a police personnel. 

Ludhiana: Some people robbed Swiggy delivery boys in Ludhiana. He was going to deliver goods near Miller Ganj after taking the order from Cashal Nagar Road. Then two miscreants on a bike robbed him near Gurudwara Dukh Nivaran Sahib bridge.

Giving information, Ankit Gupta, a resident of Guru Ramdas Nagar Tajpur Road, said that he was going to deliver goods on his Activa at 5 p.m. on July 23.

When he went to Miller Ganj after taking the goods from Kailash Nagar Road, the location ended on the way. According to Ankit, when he called the woman who placed the order, the woman told him that she needed the order near Basti Jodhewal.

According to Ankit, two boys came on a Splendor bike. They introduced themselves as police personnel. Those people beat him up and took away his mobile phone and cash of Rs 2500 from his pocket. He informed the police of Police Station Division Number 6 about the incident. Police have registered a case against Suraj Singh, a resident of GM School, Chandni Chowk, and Aman, a resident of Tibba Road, under sections 304(2), 3(5).
