Panipat: In the Israna sub-division of the Panipat district of Haryana, a speeding bike driver hit another bike from behind. Due to this, the biker fell and became unconscious. However, the accused driver also fell in the accident. The unconscious youth was immediately taken to the civil hospital and doctors declared him dead. The accident happened in front of the eyes of the deceased’s brother.
In a complaint to Israna police station, Jagbir said that he is a resident of village Karad. His brother Bijendra, who was a contractor, was returning to the village from Israna on his bike on July 28. It was around 7 p.m.; he was on another bike behind his brother.
When they reached near International School, a speeding bike came from behind and hit Bijendra’s bike going ahead. Due to this, Bijendra fell and became unconscious. The accused bike driver also fell. Jagbir started handling his brother.
Meanwhile, the accused bike driver fled from the spot. However, by then the accused’s bike number had been noted. He immediately took his unconscious brother to the civil hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
