Three vehicle thieves apprehended in Palwal: Police crackdown on auto theft

Four stolen bikes were recovered. The accused had come from Rajasthan to commit the thefts.

Palwal: Palwal police arrested three bike thieves. Four stolen bikes were also recovered from the accused. The police presented the accused in court and sent them to jail.

Camp police station in-charge Rajesh Kumar said Sagar, a resident of Ghughera village, had said in his complaint that he had come to the Dev Vahan Extension counter for some personal work. After parking the bike outside, he went inside, but when he returned after a few minutes, two vehicle thieves were busy breaking the lock of his bike.

When Sagar tried to catch them, one ran away and the other was caught. During interrogation, the vehicle thief caught gave his name as Asil’s son Jameel, a resident of Sheeshan, Jurheda (Rajasthan).

Here, Shiva, a resident of Kheda village of Hapur district (UP), had his bike stolen from outside Palwal Dharmanagar, and Priya Kumar, a resident of Badauli, had his bike stolen from outside Mangalam Hospital and was recovered by the police.

CIA in-charge Umar Mohammad said that his team has arrested vehicle thieves Naveed alias Nabbu, son of Islam, and Imran, son of Samsuddin, residents of Jalew Khan Colony, Hathin, along with stolen bikes.

Both had stolen bikes from Omaxe City and Manpur. The CIA team interrogated the vehicle thieves and recovered three stolen bikes from their possession. The police presented both the thieves in court and sent them to jail.
