DG of Civil Aviation conducts inspection at Ambala Airport

The DG of the Civil Aviation Department said the agency should complete the construction work by August 10. 

Ambala: In Haryana today, Director GenerAmbala of Civil Aviation Department Virendra Singh inspected the domestic airport being built in Ambala Cantonment along with officials of the Army, Air Force, Public Works Department, and other departments. During the inspection, he instructed the officials of the Public Works Department and the concerned agency to complete the civil work by August 10. He said that all the work should be completed here promptly.

The Director General said that the work related to civil work should be completed here by August 10. He told the officials of the Police Department to also do the work that is to be done here from the security point of view.

He said that the department whose work is to be done here should complete the work with better coordination so that flights can be taken off from here as soon as possible. Last Wednesday, Civil Aviation Minister Kamal Gupta visited here, and after knowing the progress of the ongoing works, he instructed us to complete all the works as soon as possible.

On this occasion, SDM Satinder Siwach, Colonel Manas Nair, DSP Rajat Gulia, Gobind Singh Bisht, Engineer Naeem, Anshul Aggarwal, and other officers were present.
