Amritsar: Murder in Golden temple premises, SGPC employees stabbed with sword in office

Amritsar:  A Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) employee was stabbed with a sword on the premises of the Golden Temple. The murder occurred during daylight in the SGPC office. Two employees fought with each other and one of them attack with a sword.

Immediately after the incident, the employee was rushed to the hospital, but he died during treatment. The police have been informed about this. 

According to the initial investigation, this incident took place in the accounts department of Golden Temple at around 1.30 pm. A hot argument started between SGPC employee Sukhbir Singh and Darbara Singh working in the accounts branch over something. SGPC officials say that both of them have family relations, and there was a fight between them at home this morning as well.

In the afternoon, the fight started again between the two in the Golden Temple. According to eyewitnesses, the accused Sukhbir Singh attacked Darbara Singh with a sword five times. He kept attacking until Darbara Singh fell unconscious.

Sukhbir Singh fled from the spot after the incident. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee informed the local police about this. After which the accused is being searched. Meanwhile, Pyara Singh has been admitted to the hospital and he died during treatment.
