Leoprad spotted in roaming Una residential area, rescues by forest department and relocate to Zoo

On Sunday morning, some people saw a leopard sitting on the road near Chalet.

Una: A leopard entered the residential area adjacent to the road in Chalet of Una district of Himachal Pradesh. Due to this people there were scared for a long time. This leopard is said to be one to one and a half years old. The forest department team rescued the leopard. The team got it treated at the veterinary hospital in Daulatpur Chowk. After this, the forest department sent the leopard to Gopalpur Zoo.

On Sunday morning, some people saw a leopard sitting on the road near Chalet. Although animals were roaming in the open at some distance from it. But the leopard did not attack them and remained sitting there quietly.

Local people informed the forest department. On receiving the information, the department team reached the spot. After this, the team rescued the leopard with the help of local people and took it to the hospital in Daulatpur Chowk for treatment.

On the other hand, RO of Bharwain forest range Kishori Lal said that a leopard had entered the inhabited area of Chalet village. It was rescued and treated at Daulatpur Chowk Hospital. He said that now the leopard has been sent to Gopalpur in Palampur.
