Tarn Taran: In series of recovering illicit drones coming from the neighboring country Pakistan, Border Security Force troops recovered a China made drone here in the border area of Tarn Taran district. The drone was neutralized by the BSF troops and Punjab Police in joint operation.
On 4th August 2024, a joint search operation was conducted by BSF troops in collaboration with the Punjab Police. The search operation was conducted in the border area of district Tarn Taran in anticipation of a fallen intruder drone, which was neutralized by BSF.
During the search operation, at about 05:30 pm, the troops successfully recovered the drone in a farming field adjacent to village Dal in Tarn Taran district.
The recovered drone has been identified as a China-made DJI AIR-3. A flawless neutralization drill by the BSF and coordinated efforts with Punjab police made yet another successful recovery of illicit drones from across the border.
