Himachal Pradesh: Unveils plans for its first electric bus workshop

Recently, in a meeting held at the HRTC headquarters in Shimla for the construction of the bus station.

McLeodganj: A workshop for electric buses will be built in Smart City Dharamshala. This workshop will be built in the HRTC workshop being built under Smart City. About 70 per cent of the work of the smart workshop has been completed. 15 inspection pits will also be built in this smart workshop. The construction of Himachal Pradesh’s first electric bus depot can be started from Dharamshala. These days, a state-of-the-art workshop is being built here by the Transport Corporation under the Smart City Mission. Along with this, the work on the new bus terminal has also started.

In such a situation, the government can easily realize its claims of converting petrol and diesel vehicles into electric vehicles. Not only this, the construction work of the modern bus station being built in the district headquarters in Dharamshala is also going to start soon.
