Congress MP Shailaja against CM’s MSP decision during Faridabad visit

Farmers are being given lollipops given elections; the Swaminathan report should be implemented.

Faridabad: On the announcement of MSP on 24 crops by Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini in Faridabad district, Congress General Secretary and Sirsa MP Kumari Shailaja said that today the BJP is remembering the farmers. Farmers are being given lollipops given the Lok Sabha election results and the upcoming assembly elections. The demands of the farmers will be fulfilled only when the report of the Swaminathan Commission is implemented.

She said that farmers were sitting on the roads in heat, cold, and rain for a year, and 700 farmers died, but no one even expressed regret. To end the farmers’ protest, it was said that MSP would be given legal status, but legal status has not been given yet. Kumari Shailaja said that nothing will happen by what the opposition says; the public will ask the BJP for the answer of 10 years.
