Shimla: A person died after coming under the company’s tipper late at night during the four-lane work going on on the Shimla National Highway.
According to the information received, when the company’s tipper was reversing near the tunnel in Tarsuh village during the four-lane work, it developed a technical fault, due to which Amar Singh, a resident of the local village Dhamed, working there, died after coming under the tipper. Panchayat Pradhan Raj Kumar said that Amar Singh, who became a victim of the accident at night, should be given proper compensation.
The body of the deceased has been taken to Tanda for a postmortem.
