CM Mann inaugurates Punjab Help Center at IGI Airport; provide assistance to Punjabis, NRIs 24/7

New Delhi: The Punjab government has set up a help center for the convenience of NRIs and Punjabis going to Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. Employees will be deployed here 24 hours a day for the convenience of the people. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann inaugurated the help center today. The Punjab government has signed.

New Delhi: The Punjab government has set up a help center for the convenience of NRIs and Punjabis going to Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. Employees will be deployed here 24 hours a day for the convenience of the people. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann inaugurated the help center today. The Punjab government has signed an agreement with a private company for this project. The announcement of this help center was made by CM Mann earlier and today he inaugurated and dedicated it to the people.

At the Center which is here at Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi Airport, people will get help with flights, connecting flights, taxi service, lost luggage and any kind of help at the airport. At the same time, in case of emergency, some rooms will be made available for passengers or their relatives in Punjab Bhawan in Delhi based on availability. The creation of Help Center is aimed at reducing the difficulties of Punjabis and NRIs travelling from Indira Gandhi International Airport.

It is also said that the youth to be deployed in the staff will know the Punjabi language well apart from English and Hindi. It is done to ensure that people from Punjab don’t face any barrier while communicating in their own language.

The government has also issued a number for the help center. People will also be able to know about the facilities provided. For this, people can contact with the helpline number 011-61232182.


Earlier in the morning, CM Bhagwant Mann himself shared the picture of the help center. Sharing the photo he sais, “A few days ago, I announced that we would be opening a Punjab Help Center at Delhi Airport to assist Punjabis. Today, I am pleased to share that we are officially dedicating this center to the Punjabis. I hope that this initiative by our government will alleviate the difficulties faced by Punjabis and NRIs.”
