Haryana government to introduce safeguarding jobs for 1.20 lakh temporary workers; high salaried workers excluded

Chief Minister Saini clarified that the employees taking salaries of more than 50 thousand rupees will not be included in the policy.

Chandigarh: In the Haryana Cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Naib Saini said that it has been decided to secure the service of temporary employees by bringing an Act regarding them. Along with this, 1 lakh 20 thousand employees engaged under outsourcing and HKRN will get its benefit.

The CM said that the employees will get the basic salary of the pay scale. The benefit of an annual salary increase will also be given to temporary employees under this policy by the government. Chief Minister Saini clarified that the employees taking salaries of more than 50 thousand rupees will not be included in the policy that the government is bringing.

Along with this, employees sponsored by the schemes of the Central Government will not get its benefits. During the press briefing, the CM said that a cabinet meeting had been called again on August 17.

While answering the questions of the journalists after the cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister said that the employees who have been employed for 5 years or more will get the benefit of this policy of the government. Employees who have been employed for 5 years or more will get 5 percent more salary of the minimum pay scale. Similarly, employees with 8 years of service will get 10 percent more salary than the minimum pay scale, and those who have been employed for more than this will get 15 percent more salary than the minimum pay scale.

The CM said that met the farmer organizations and got many suggestions from them. The government has already decided to buy the crops of the farmers at MSP. This year there has been less rainfall in May, June, and July. Due to less rainfall, the expenses of the farmers have increased, so the cabinet has decided to give bonuses to the farmers in the current Kharif crops. This year, a bonus of Rs 2000 per acre will be given to Kharif crops.

The CM appealed to the farmers to get their crops registered on the portal by August 15. CM said that if there is any farmer who has less than one acre of land, then he will also be given 2 thousand by the government. CM said the son of a poor farmer, and understand the pain of farmers.

The CM said that the cabinet has decided regarding journalists that there were two conditions in the monthly pension on retirement; the cabinet has removed them. After this, journalists who were facing pension problems due to criminal cases will not face them now. Apart from this, if both husband and wife are journalists in the same family, then they will also be given a pension; earlier only one used to get a pension.
