Jatauli Mandi traders struggle with blocked drains and stalled pipeline works, facing financial issues

A week ago, the work of laying a pipeline was started by the municipality to fix the water drainage.

Pataudi: The traders of Jatauli Mandi, located in Pataudi of the Gurugram district of Haryana, are very worried about water drainage. The main drains and sewers of the market have been blocked for the last several years. At the same time, for the past week, the local people have been facing huge problems.

A week ago, the work of laying a pipeline was started by the municipality to fix the water drainage. For this, the platforms built in front of the shops were demolished. Even after a week has passed, not an inch of work has progressed; the chaos created in front of the shops is lying as it is. At the same time, the accumulated rainwater has increased the trouble of the shopkeepers even more.

Locals are not visiting the market as the roads are clogged with sewerage water. Due to this shopkeepers are facing financial loss. The municipality is harassing the shopkeepers by doing mere formality in the name of the water drainage system. The problems of shopkeepers are being ignored.
