Abdulapur Basti gate in Ludhiana closes for one week for double lane road construction work: Railway issues notification

According to the notification issued by the Railways, doubling work is going on in full swing in Ludhiana.

Ludhiana: The railway gate between Abdulapur Basti gate (Balraj Singh Gill Road to Manjit Nagar) in Ludhiana is being closed for a week.

A notification regarding this has also been issued by the Railway Department on Friday. The information has been issued that this gate will remain closed from 10 August to 16 August.

According to the notification issued by the Railways, doubling work is going on in full swing in Ludhiana. Under this, first the Hero Bakery Chowk gate and now the railway gate between Balraj Singh Gill Road and Manjit Singh Nagar are being kept closed from 10 August to 16 August. According to the Railways, doubling work on the Ludhiana-Baddowal railway section is going on. Due to this, the gate is being closed.

Please note that the gate is being closed by the railways. There is frequent movement of people there. There is always a crowd of people passing through this gate. Due to this, people will also face trouble. But the entire traffic has been diverted by the railway.

After the closure of the railway gate, the entire traffic will be diverted towards Gurudwara Bhagat Singh Sabha Road. So that people do not face any trouble. After the completion of the work by August 16, this gate will be opened.
