Bhiwani triple murder: Scrap dealer and accomplices sentence to life imprisonment for brutal killing of woman and daughters

For disposing of the bodies, the court has sentenced them to 7 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 each under Section 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Bhiwani: In the case of the brutal murder of a woman and her two minor daughters in Bhiwani, Haryana, in the year 2018, the court on Friday sentenced 3 persons, including the woman’s husband, to life imprisonment. This triple murder was so gruesome that the killers cut the bodies of the mother and daughters into pieces and threw them in the fields. The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand on the three murderers.

Scrap dealer Rajesh, a resident of Naya Bazar, Bhiwani, along with his two other associates, brutally murdered his wife and her two minor daughters. Later, their bodies were cut into pieces, put in a drum, and thrown in the fields of village Kharak. The hearing of this case was going on in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Bhiwani, Bikramjit Arora.

The court has sentenced the main accused, Rajesh, a junk dealer of Naya Bazar Bhiwani, Poonam alias Fauji of Bhiwani, and Makhanlal, a resident of village Madia Madhya Pradesh, to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50,000 each under Section 302, 34. For disposing of the bodies, the court has sentenced them to 7 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 each under Section 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

According to the case, a 25-year-old woman from Madhya Pradesh, upset with her alcoholic husband, had come to Bhiwani with her 4-year-old daughter. She used to collect junk from the city in Bhiwani and sell it to Rajesh, a junk dealer. Rajesh deceived her by promising to keep her as his wife. He started keeping the woman in a room in his plot in Bajrang Bali Colony. After this, the woman gave birth to a daughter.

The scrap dealer showed her daughter the Aadhar card as his own. When there was a dispute over this, on 18 December 2018, a 9-month-old girl and a 5-year-old girl older than her were cut to pieces with a sharp weapon. The pieces of the three mothers and daughters were thrown in the fields. Some pieces were put into hot water and acid in their Dhana Road warehouse.
