Mahapanchayat of Hindu organisations in Rewari urges martyr status for Sonu Sarpanch

He died after being shot by a cow smuggler. 

Rewari: Sonu Sarpanch, a member of the Gau Raksha Dal, who hails from the village of Fidedi in the Rewari district of Haryana, had an encounter with cow smugglers in Mewat on June 15. In this, Sonu Sarpanch, a member of the Gau Raksha Dal, was shot. Sonu was undergoing treatment at Medicity Hospital in Gurugram for one and a half months. Sonu died 5 days ago.

After Sonu’s death, angry Hindu organizations held a Mahapanchayat in the new grain market of Rewari today. Thousands of people from Hindu organizations participated in the Mahapanchayat. And saints and sages from different places also participated. Leaders of different political parties also reached this Mahapanchayat today.

People of Hindu organizations have decided in the Mahapanchayat that Sonu Sarpanch should be given the status of martyr. A place should be given to build a martyr memorial in Rewari city. They have demanded from the government that cow slaughter be stopped in the country. The government should provide financial help to Sonu Sarpanch’s family.

It has been told that Sonu had been a member of Gau Raksha Dal for 2 years. He was constantly engaged in saving cows from cow smugglers. On June 15, Sonu Sarpanch was shot in the stomach by cattle smugglers on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway under Ferozepur Jhirka police station. Due to this, he was seriously injured. Where he died during treatment.

Today, Hindu organizations held a Mahapanchayat in the new grain market. Thousands of people from Hindu organizations participated. The people of the organization said that the government should fulfil all these demands soon.
